About the Role
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will play a key role in the management of day-to-day facilities operations, logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will also play a lead role in the deployment of organizational initiatives and change management activities. The Operations Supervisor will oversee and provide guidance to the Warehouse workers and team.
Responsibility
Ensure that all policies, procedures, and operational directives are consistently and effectively followed, including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, return Sortation, etc.
Drive Operational excellence process initiatives.
Participate in warehouse planning and partner with leadership to develop an effective and efficient system / operating rhythm for the warehouse.
Establish key operational metrics to measure and track effectiveness and efficiencies.
Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Maintain regular attendance.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualification
High School Diploma, associate degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience managing warehouse operations.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and be able to lift 50lbs
Use of PPE required for the job task (vest, steel-toed shoes, body harness, gloves, etc.).
Preferred
E-commerce experience is strongly preferred
Forklift license is strongly preferred
