Channel Islands Aviation opened in 1976 when Mark and Janie Oberman were selected as the first operator at the Camarillo Airport, formally the Oxnard Air Force Base. For over the past thirty-five years, Channel Islands Aviation has been Camarillo Airport’s premier locally owned and operated “FBO” or Fixed Base Operator. With two generations working in the business, Channel Islands Aviation has a bright future to continue its reputation for years to come.
Channel Islands Aviation offers a variety of services which include New Cessna aircraft sales as a Cessna Sales Team Authorized Representative (CSTAR), Cessna Pilot Center (CPC) flight training, Chevron 100 LL and Jet-A fuel sales, ramp services and hangar storage, jet and turbo prop charter, parts, maintenance and avionics. Additionally, Channel Islands Aviation is an official concessionaire to the Channel Islands National Park providing aerial support for the National Park Service, Nature Conservancy, USCB, the general public and more.
