The Accounting Assistant will support the accounting department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and be proficient in both English and Chinese.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records.
2. Invoice Processing: Assist in the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of invoices.
3. Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries.
4. Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
5. Communication: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal departments in both English and Chinese.
6. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred.
Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
