We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources & Admin Generalist to join our main office in California. This role is crucial in supporting our back-end operations in the US, focusing on personnel recruitment, payroll operations, social welfare management, and comprehensive administrative management in our California office. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both Mandarin and English to effectively communicate in our bilingual work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations for US-based positions.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other welfare initiatives.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, providing clear and accurate information.
- Employee Relations and Development:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.
- Support employee development initiatives, including performance management and training programs.
- Handle employee relations issues, mediating conflicts and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Administrative Management:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative functions in the California office, ensuring efficient operations.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to maintain a productive work environment.
- Coordinate company events, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare and submit required HR reports and metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in human resources and administrative roles, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll processes, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required.
