Location: Remote (preferably Southern California)
Job Description:
-Counsel and advise high school students on course planning, activities and admissions.
-Interview students to determine program eligibility and obtain information required to develop student educational and personal development plans.
-Confer with parents of newly immigrated students, academic counselors, district personnel, social service agencies, community resources, educational institutions, and other professionals to discuss students' progress, resolve behavioral, academic, culture shock issues, and to determine priorities for students and their resource needs.
-Establish educational plans to fit students’ needs and help them to reach their goals by having educational planning meetings with them.
-Maintain current knowledge of a variety of complex regulations, requirements and policies related to assigned specialty areas.
-Plan, develop and conduct workshops to provide students with specialized assistance and information in assigned areas.
-Develop forms, handbooks, manuals and other written materials to facilitate student advice.
-Misc. additional responsibilities may apply.
Qualifications:
-A Bachelor degree (or higher) in Education or Counseling preferred.
-Bilingual (Chinese, Korean) preferred.
-Experience and/or desire working in the field of academic consulting and counseling.
-Must be professional, proactive and compassionate.
-Excellent communication skills.

资格要求：
- 教育学或咨询专业的本科学位（或更高学历）优先。
- 具备中文或韩文双语能力为佳。
- 在学术咨询和辅导领域有经验和/或意愿工作。
- 必须保持专业、主动、和有同理心。
- 出色的沟通技巧。
