Position Overview:
As a Consulting Specialist in Tourism and Cultural Exchange,
you will play a key role in advising our clients on enhancing their tourism
offerings, creating cultural exchange programs, and ensuring long-term
sustainability in the tourism industry. This position will require
collaboration with tourism boards, cultural institutions, NGOs, and other
travel-related entities to design and implement programs that bridge cultures
and create memorable travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic consulting on
tourism development and cultural exchange programs.
• Conduct in-depth research and
market analysis to identify trends in global tourism and cultural exchange
opportunities.
• Design and implement tourism and
cultural exchange initiatives tailored to client needs.
• Develop strong partnerships with
local and international tourism boards, educational institutions, and cultural
organizations.
• Lead and manage tourism projects
from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Promote responsible and
sustainable tourism practices in all client engagements.
• Conduct workshops and training
programs for local communities, tourism providers, and stakeholders.
• Assist with content creation and
marketing strategies to highlight local cultures, traditions, and attractions.
• Collaborate with marketing and PR
teams to promote tourism initiatives and cultural exchange programs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism,
Cultural Studies, International Relations, or a related field. A master’s
degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in tourism
consulting, cultural exchange, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of global tourism
trends and cultural exchange best practices.
• Proven ability to manage projects
and deliver strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication,
presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with diverse
stakeholders including governments, NGOs, and private sector partners.
• Ability to work independently and
in a team-oriented environment.
• Passion for travel, culture, and
cross-cultural experiences.
Preferred Skills:
• Multilingual abilities are a plus,proficiency in English and Chinese is highly desirable.
• Experience in sustainable tourism and responsible travel initiatives.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms in the tourism sector.
